We just returned from an extensive visit to Quebec area which included a Guided Tour of Quebec City (…). We wanted you to know that of all the Tour Guides we had Mike was the most knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful and that he made our trip very enjoyable. You should be very happy to have a representative like Mike.

Yesterday, we were fortunate enough to take your walking tour of old Quebec as the first activity in our three day stay. Mike O'Farrell was our guide, and he was superb! Not only did he give us a great sense of the history of the city, he also pointed out other activities, places to eat, and things to see. It set the scene for our visit, and was great fun.

Mike's voice, his English language skills, his height (which made him so easy to follow through the streets) and his pleasant personality all contributed to our enjoyment. We will be using Voir Quebec again and asking for Mike.

Monsieur Loiselle est le guide PARFAIT. Son érudition et sa connaissance de Quebec sont incroyables. Sa passion pour la vieille ville et la culture quebecoise est enthousiasmante et contagieuse. M.Loiselle a eu la gentillesse d'adapter le tour à plusieurs reprises : itinéraire, durée de la visite, prise en compte de la fatigue de ma fille, bonnes adresses pour le magasinage. Nous avons, à chaque coin de rue, découvert ce mélange des cultures francophones et anglophones, apprécié les petites plaques et petits monuments (le cercle des officiers par exemple ou encore l'ancienne prison) comme les plus grands (le chateau Frontenac). Les attractions majeures ont toutes bénéficié d'anecdotes savoureuses comme la glissade sur la terrasse Dufferin. Je ne regarderai plus jamais Québec comme avant. Et mon épouse estime que ce tour a été un des points forts de nos 18 jours de vacances outre-atlantique. Quant à mon fils de 18 ans, il a été très heureux alors que les "vieilles pierres" ne sont pas vraiment la passion des jeunes de notre époque.

We went with Tours Voir for a 2-hour tour around the Old City of Quebec. I have three children, ages 14, 13, and 11, and our group included people of all ages, hailing from Canada, different parts of the USA and Ireland. It was not possible to walk to all the historical sites and hear about the history of Quebec in the two hours, which flew by, but our guide Carole pointed out other areas to see, such as the Citadel & the Plains of Abraham, the Ursuline Museum, the Laval seminary, the Notre Dame Basilica, etc. So not only was it a good overview, but also a good orientation for further exploration (she also let us know which sites could be seen for free, whch was helpful).

Carole was especially talented with engaging and holding the attention of tweens and teens, who don't necessarily groove on history. At one point, seeing that my son was flagging a bit, she gave him an assignment to count the number of cats on a mural we were looking at.

I would highly recommend this tour, especially if this is your first visit to Quebec.

“Very informative”

Our 'old Quebec grand tour' was a great way to spend the afternoon getting to know the history and sights in old Quebec cityl. Our tour guide Pierre was fantastic, he found out where everyone in the group was from and made a point to tell/show them things related to their country or orientation. The tour was roughly 2.5 hours, and very easy to walk, mostly downhill. Pierre was very entertaining, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Quebec city.

“Fabulous walking/country tours with personal touches.”

We were in Quebec just days ago and the 8 of us took two tours with Pierre Belisle. He was super. all of us have nothing but great things to say about him and this cmpany. We were met at the ship for a 3 hour walking tour of both old and new parts of the city. With a personal guide we were able to ask questions and discuss many topics along the way. His English was perfect. But he also taught us French. The next day we took a 4 hour countryside tour of the places WE WANTED TO SEE.. stopping at a local orchard to buy our Ice Cider -- yum.. We could stay as long as we wanted at each stop and were again given that "personal touch." At the end we were dropped off with our luggage at the airport. All this costing far less than taking a tour thru the cruiseline. Strongly recommend this company and Pierre Belisle for your vacation. knotamirage, Wisconsin

A few years later, I had the opportunity to study in London at L.S.E where I also developed an interest in travel. So, having recently retired, I took the course to become a tour guide and now here I am.”
