An Anecdote: A great experience for me when i guide is when it is possible to link the history of Québec and the personnal history of my guests, related to their ancestors or their living. One day, i guided a group of american people, and a man who lived in the city of Joliet, state of Illinois, was very surprised to learn that the great french explorer Louis Joliet, the discover of the Mississipi river, was born in Québec city and his house is still standing and houses now the cable car !

Before becoming a guide: I worked 20 years for Desjardins Group in Lévis in the field of financial services and now, i work as a guide for the Desjardins Museum in Lévis to make discover the history of the foundation of the greatest canadian cooperative movement.

Why did I become a guide:  I decided in 2014 to become a tour guide for two main reasons : i am an history buff since my childhood and i enjoy meeting and guiding people from different countries ! And Québec city, a World Heritage city is a so nice city to discover and full of history to explain and show to my guests !

I am particularly interested in the rich religious heritage of Québec and the fascinating architecture of this World Heritage city. In second hand, the military history and in third hand, archeology and geology of the area and its amerindian presence.
