Meet the locals where they live and where they go out to eat. Sip wine. Follow the history through the food of the cultures that came through here, Amerindian, British and French among them. The Food Tour offers the opportunity to discover these different culinary and cultural traditions.

Since 2011, the Food Tour is part of the Canadian Signature Experience Collection

Departures Tuesday to Saturday at 2:30 pm

During this walking tour, you will taste the typical and local specialties from a variety of shops such as: "La Crémaillère"(European French and Italian restaurant), "Le Tournebroche"(organic rotisserie), Maple Delights, "La Ninkasi"(Pub serving only Quebec micro-brewery beers),  "Le Moine Échanson", (French bistro selling organic wine) "Crêperie le Billig"(traditionnal crepes), and, to topple it, "Choco-Musée Érico"(chocolate museum and store). The tour will stop at these 7 different venues and you will sample around 15 products overall.  Chefs can vary the content of samples. Guaranteed departures Tuesday through Saturday.

The Food Tour in a nutshell

Accompanied by a Tours Voir Québec local professional guide, take time to discover the picturesque Saint-Jean district, a popular neighbourhood in the city. The Food Tour departs from Tours Voir Québec’s sales desk located inside the Quebec Tourist Information Centre (12, rue Ste-Anne) across the park from highly visible Chateau Frontenac. Pay parking is available underneath Quebec City Hall and street parking meters, along rue des Remparts. Bus routes (3, 7 & 11) stops nearby. No need to use your car.
