A food and heritage discovery tour

This 8 hour private vehicle tour will take you to the charming region of Portneuf to discover the richness of its local products, in the company of a professional guide. The circuit will follow the majestic St. Lawrence River with breathtaking panoramic views!

The Portneuvois portion of the Chemin du Roy, the oldest road in the country, allows the discovery of the villages of Neuville, Cap-Santé and Deschambault-Grondines, which are among some of the most beautiful villages in the Province of Quebec. 

The tour will stop at an ancestral farm that processes and preserves what they harvest in their fields.  Then, a wine tasting at the Domaine des 3 Moulins.  In addition, you will have lunch in a quaint bistro and finish at Fromagerie des Grondines to sample Quebecois cheeses from their award wining selection.

Description of activities

At Médé:
An Ancestral farm founded in 1667, producing dairy, fruits and vegetables. 12 generations give with love the knowledge and passion of the earth. Since 2012, the kiosk on the farm has a new division: that of transformation. We suggest a 30-minute tour to discover the processing of their products, and the history of the family. 
Domain des 3 moulins:
Domaine des 3 Moulins is a vineyard, but also an archaeological site of the nineteenth century.
Enjoy a guided tour and a wine tasting to discover this enchanting site and these products.
Fromagerie des Grondines:
Fromagerie des Grondines produces organic raw milk cheeses, from firm to soft dough, from 1kg to 23kg, which are aged from 2 to 18 months.
During this activity you will discover the process of cheese making and will be able to taste them.
You will find in their shop a wide variety of local products from here and elsewhere. Large selection of meat (beef, veal, pork, duck, goose, salmon), but also a wide range of artisan cheeses from Quebec.
Lunch at Bistro Chez Ti-Bi:
A charming cafe located in the heart of Cap-Santé, one the nicest village in the Province of Quebec.  Lunch at your expense.
Cap Lauzon site:
Cap Lauzon overlooks the St. Lawrence River and Rapids Richelieu located in Deschambault-Grondines considered one of the most beautiful villages in Quebec. Several small businesses have taken up residence there, a stop will allow you to discover local products. A beautiful site that is worth taking a moment.
