Embark on a 4 hour tour that will lead you to the Beaupre coast. You will travel along a scenic route, the oldest carossable road in Canada, with magnificent views of the mighty St. Lawrence river and the Laurentian mountains, including the incredible Montmorency falls and the Shrine of Saint-Anne-de-Beaupre. The Shrine is a major Roman Catholic place of pilgrimage and has the only copy of Michelangelo’s Pieta. Your private tour guide will make sure that you do not miss the most interesting aspects of this beautiful church. Discover it at your own pace.
Travelling back to Montmorency Falls, you’ll be sure to get the best views and photos of this natural beauty. Located between the river and the cliffs, it’s one of the province’s most spectacular sites. With its 83 meters high, Montmorency Falls dominates the landscape. Please advise us if you want to cross the suspension bridge or even take the cable car that goes from the base to the top of the falls.
Continue your travel, with more great views of the countryside on the way to Ile D’Orleans, right across the bridge from the falls. The island is home to many, mostly family owned farms, and famous for its Maple products, local producers and wineries. Ask your guide to stop at one of the many stands along the way, so you can taste the sweet local favorites.
Having seen and experienced a beautiful countryside, we will slowly make our way back to Vieux Quebec.
